General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all treatments, services, and agreements of Dental Art Dental Care Center, established at Dental Art.

By using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions below.

1. Cancel or change appointments

If you wish to cancel or change an appointment, we request that you do so no later than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment to pass on to us. This enables us to offer the freed-up time to another patient.

Late cancellation

If you do not cancel or change an appointment at least 48 hours in advance, we reserve the right to charge for the reserved time.
The costs are calculated in accordance with the applicable guidelines within dental care.

Failure to show up for an appointment (no-show)

If you fail to show up for your appointment without notice, we reserve the right to charge the full amount for the reserved treatment time.

In the event of repeated no-shows without timely cancellation, Mondzorgcentrum Dental Art may decide to terminate the treatment relationship due to the lack of a basis of trust.

2. Reminders as a service

Dental Art Dental Care Centre can send email and/or SMS reminders as a service to confirm appointments.

No rights can be derived from these memories.
Not receiving a reminder does not relieve you of the responsibility to keep track of your appointments yourself and to appear on time.

3. Invoicing

The invoicing of treatments can be handled by an external billing party or directly by Mondzorgcentrum Dental Art.

Depending on your health insurance, the claim may be submitted (partially) directly to your health insurer. However, you remain personally responsible for the full payment of the invoice at all times, regardless of reimbursement by your insurer.

If direct payment takes place at the practice, this can be done via PIN or other available payment methods.

4. Payment terms

Invoices must be paid within the payment term stated on the invoice.

In the event of late payment, statutory interest and collection costs may be charged in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

In the event of payment arrears, we reserve the right to suspend further treatments until the outstanding amount has been settled, unless it concerns emergency care. In that case, emergency treatments must be paid for immediately after treatment.

5. Treatment relationship

Dental Art Dental Care Center reserves the right to terminate the treatment agreement in accordance with applicable legislation in the event of a serious breach of the relationship of trust or repeated payment or appointment problems.

6. Transfer of patient file

If you switch to another dental practice, you are responsible for requesting your medical records yourself.

Upon your written request, we will provide your file to you or directly to your new dentist — in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Transfer will only take place after your explicit consent.

7. Rates

The rates set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) apply to dental treatments. A current overview of these rates is available via the NZa website or upon request at our practice.

For treatments that do not fall under the established NZa rates, a cost estimate is provided in advance.

8. Liability

Dental Art Dental Care Center performs treatments in accordance with the applicable professional standards within dentistry.

We are solely liable for direct damage resulting from demonstrable shortcomings in the performance of the treatment, to the extent that such liability is not excluded or limited by law.

9. Amendments

Dental Art Dental Care Center reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions. The most current version is always available on our website.
