Extracting a tooth or molar

Unfortunately, sometimes it is not possible to save a tooth. For example, when it is severely damaged, cannot be properly repaired, or is infected. In that case, removing the tooth may be the best solution for your oral health.

We understand that this is not a pleasant thought for many people. That is why we always take the time to calmly explain what will happen and why treatment is necessary. Naturally, we ensure proper local anesthesia, so that the treatment proceeds comfortably in most cases.

Are you tense or have you had a less pleasant experience in the past? Please feel free to let us know. We have extensive experience in guiding anxious patients and do everything to make you feel at ease.

After the treatment, you will receive clear aftercare instructions for a speedy recovery. If necessary, we will also discuss the options for replacing the missing tooth, for example with an implant, bridge, or prosthesis.

Surgical removal of wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth do not always have enough room to erupt properly. Sometimes they grow crooked, remain partially under the gums, or cause problems such as pain, inflammation, or pressure on other teeth.

In that case, it may be wise to remove the wisdom tooth. When conventional removal is not possible, we perform a surgical removal. This is done under local anesthesia and is carefully planned and executed.

Beforehand, we calmly explain what you can expect, and there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions. We also provide good support after the treatment and offer practical advice to minimize swelling, post-treatment pain, and discomfort.

Our goal is for you to feel well-informed, reassured, and at ease throughout the entire process.
